Job description: We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (Middle level) to ensure the stability, continuity, and fault tolerance of the banking systems portfolio, as well as to resolve incidents and support releases.

Responsibilities: • Ensure the full lifecycle support of the application and service portfolio; • Respond to monitoring alerts, investigate and resolve incidents within Incident Management regulations; • Provide expert technical consultation to users and related departments; • Participate in Change and Release Management processes: approval of changes, testing and deployment of updates on test and production environments; • Analyze resource utilization trends (Capacity Management), identify performance bottlenecks; • Participate in ensuring fault tolerance (Resiliency Engineering): testing HA architectures and conducting DR drills (Disaster Recovery); • Analyze business requests and formulate technical/functional requirements for vendors and internal development; • Track tasks and requirements in Jira/Git, maintain up-to-date versions and technical documentation; • Monitor compliance with SLAs by external software vendors and participate in regular assessment of operational risks and vulnerabilities.

Requirements: • Relevant higher education (IT, computer science, or related fields); • 3+ years of experience in software technical support or development (preferably in the banking sector, fintech, or enterprise segment); • Experience with relational DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), confident SQL / PL-SQL skills and ability to write queries; • Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems; • Understanding of containerization and orchestration principles; • Basic knowledge of network architecture, cryptographic protocols, and information security standards; • Core banking system knowledge is critical; • Understanding of at least one of the subject areas: Central Bank of the Russian Federation reporting, payment systems, integrations with SMEV; • Experience in gathering business requirements and writing technical specifications for enhancements; • English language from Intermediate level and above (spoken and written);
