YouTravel.me is a product team in travel-tech. We are building a platform that changes how people find and book tours. We work in a product-oriented mode: without unnecessary bureaucracy, with a high degree of influence for everyone on architecture and technical decisions.
We are currently looking for a hands-on Team Lead / Lead Developer who combines deep backend expertise with architectural thinking and knows how to lead a team without losing touch with the code.
Responsibilities:
- Development and evolution of the backend part of the product using PHP / Laravel
- Designing architecture and making key technical decisions
- Leading the development team: mentoring, code review, quality standards
- Coordinating work with PM, QA, and analytics - cross-functional leadership
- Participation in sprint planning, task estimation, and technical documentation
- Working with legacy code, refactoring, performance optimization
- Monitoring and incident response
- Developing the team's engineering culture
Requirements:
- Commercial development experience with PHP / Laravel for 5+ years
- Team Lead / Lead Developer experience for 2+ years (actual team management, not just title)
- Solid knowledge of PHP 7/8
- Experience with MySQL, queues, caching
- Understanding of architectural patterns: SOLID, DDD, microservices
- Experience with Git, CI/CD
- Ability to explain technical solutions and defend them to the team
- Willingness to work with existing systems and legacy stack
- English from B1 or willingness to develop
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Bitrix / Bitrix D7
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Background in product teams (not outsourcing)
- Experience in travel-tech, fintech, or highload projects
- Experience with Symfony, service-oriented architecture
