About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Platform Product Manager who will be responsible for developing the overall technological and product foundation for several B2B security products (XDR, KEDR, NDR, SIEM, NGFW, VM, KSC).

The role requires strong systems thinking, the ability to work with numerous stakeholders, and the capacity to translate complex technical and business requirements into a clear roadmap, backlog, and concrete deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and develop the platform's product strategy.
• Manage the roadmap for platform components and synchronize it with the roadmaps of product teams.
• Gather and analyze requirements from SIEM, KEDR, XDR, NGFW, VM, KSC, and other products that use or plan to use the platform.
• Identify common platform scenarios that should be implemented once and reused by different products.
• Define the boundaries of responsibility between the platform, product teams, and component development teams.
• Prepare business requirements, scenario descriptions, acceptance criteria, and readiness criteria.
• Prioritize the platform backlog considering business value, technical constraints, architectural dependencies, and impact on products.
• Coordinate requirements with architects, development teams, platform component teams, and product teams.
• Manage dependencies between platform components: IAM, NWC, CDT, AM, licensing, IRP, and others.
• Participate in planning deliveries, releases, updates, and migrations.
• Work with requirements for platform installation, updates, and operation, including CNAB/KDT/CDT delivery.
• Analyze feedback from customers, implementation teams, support, presales, and field engineers.
• Identify systemic platform issues and translate them into stabilization and development roadmaps.
• Monitor the quality of the platform experience for product teams and end-users.
• Prepare materials for management: status of initiatives, risks, dependencies, priorities, problem areas, and development proposals.
• Maintain transparent communication between the platform team, product teams, development, and the field.
• Control and form a knowledge base on actual implementation/modernization projects, win-loss analysis of key projects.

Requirements:

1. Product Competencies

• Experience in managing a B2B Enterprise product or a platform product.
• Understanding of the platform approach: shared services, reusable components, platform capabilities, internal customers.
• Ability to distinguish platform functionality from product-specific functionality.
• Skill in forming roadmaps, backlogs, MVPs, target states, and delivery phases.
• Experience in preparing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, scope/non-scope.
• Ability to handle conflicts in priorities between products, architecture, and development.

2. Technical Competencies

• General understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, API, observability, IAM/IDM, RBAC, multi-tenancy.
• Understanding of the principles of building cloud, on-premise, or hybrid B2B platforms.
• Experience with installation packages, deployment lifecycle, upgrade lifecycle, migrations, and version compatibility.
• Understanding the role of infrastructure teams, architects, DevOps, and platform component development.
• Ability to discuss technical limitations with engineering teams and translate them into product solutions.
• Understanding of enterprise deployment specifics: fault tolerance, scalability, security, audit, updates, operation.

3. Communication Competencies

• English language Upper Intermediate and above for communication with colleagues from the international sales network.
• Ability to build collaboration with multiple product teams simultaneously.
• Ability to negotiate with development, architects, technical leads, presales, implementation, support, and field engineers.
• Skill in facilitating meetings, sync-ups, roadmap reviews, and discussions on contentious requirements.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with cybersecurity products: SIEM, EDR, XDR, NGFW, SOAR, IAM, SOC tooling.
• Experience managing a platform on which multiple independent products are developed.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, k0s, Helm, Ansible, CNAB, or similar delivery technologies.
• Experience with on-premise enterprise solutions.
• Understanding of the processes for implementing, supporting, and updating complex corporate systems.
• Experience in building a unified licensing system, multi-tenancy, RBAC, audit, or observability.
• Experience with an API-first/platform-first approach.
• Experience interacting with field engineers, presales, technical support, and enterprise clients.
• Experience in a product or platform team as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Platform Product Manager.
• Ability to work with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
