Our Requirements:

• At least 2 years of commercial development experience in Java.
• Practical experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), experience with functions, stored procedures, triggers, OLAP cubes is welcome;
• At least 2 years of practical experience with the Hadoop ecosystem: Hive, Spark.
• Experience with Apache Kafka: understanding the principles of producers and consumers.
• Understanding the principles of building ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases, query optimization.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to work in a team, responsibility, desire to develop in Big Data.

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of ETL processes based on Apache Hadoop (Hive, Spark, possibly HBase, Hue for processing and analyzing large volumes of data)
• Development and construction of data marts (SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL);
• Implementation of data processing and enrichment logic.
• Integration with Apache Kafka: reading, processing, and writing data to topics.
• Interaction with target systems for transferring processed data.
• Participation in the design of data mart architecture.
• Performance optimization and pipeline monitoring.
