We are looking for a Senior Mobile Product Engineer who can not only implement mobile features with high quality but also fully participate in product creation: understand the task, influence technical decisions, deliver changes to production, and track results after release.
For us, it's important that the developer sees the user problem behind the task and can independently go through the entire process from idea and technical solution to stable feature performance in the product.
How we see a strong candidate
This is not a developer who needs a fully ready technical plan. An Engineer here is capable of receiving a product problem, understanding constraints, proposing a technical solution, independently bringing it to production, verifying its quality and effect after release, and changing the approach if necessary. At the same time, we are not looking for someone who knows the entire stack equally deeply. We value strong expertise in mobile / React Native and the ability to confidently go beyond its boundaries when the result requires it.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve mobile features using React Native and TypeScript
- Together with Product and Design, understand the user problem, discuss solution options, and define success criteria
- Make architectural decisions and find a balance between development speed, quality, and maintainability
- Work with performance, state and data management, offline scenarios, synchronization, and complex mobile interfaces
- When necessary, go beyond React Native: dive into Swift/Kotlin, native modules, APIs, and related backend logic
- Participate in planning analytics and experiments, work with feature flags and safe phased rollouts of changes
- Monitor technical and product signals after release, diagnose production issues, and eliminate their root causes
- Utilize AI tools in daily development: for research, prototyping, writing and verifying code, testing, and automation
- Participate in code reviews, discussions of technical solutions, and development of team engineering practices
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in developing and releasing production applications using React Native and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of mobile development: architecture, state and data management, performance, testability, and debugging
- Understanding of iOS and Android specifics and React Native limitations
- Experience independently managing complex features: from technical solution to release, monitoring, and subsequent improvements
- Ability to understand a problem, propose solutions, and discuss trade-offs argumentatively with Product and other team members
- Understanding of release processes, observability, and mobile client-backend interaction
- Practical experience using AI tools in development and a habit of independently verifying the results obtained
- Willingness to learn adjacent technologies if required by the task, rather than being limited to only familiar stacks
- English B1 level, sufficient for working with technical documentation
Will be an advantage
- Practical experience with Swift/Kotlin, native modules, API/BFF, or backend development
- Experience with consumer subscription products: IAP, paywalls, billing, entitlements, subscription lifecycle
- Experience with product analytics, A/B tests, feature flags, and experiments
- Development of AI features: streaming responses, evals, fallback scenarios, privacy, latency/cost monitoring
- Experience building AI-assisted or agent-based development and automation processes
