📍 Cyprus | Full-time | On-site Spotware is looking for a Legal Adviser / Compliance Specialist to join our Legal Department. This is a great opportunity for a legal professional who wants to work at the intersection of Legal, Compliance, FinTech and Financial Services in an international environment. What we’re looking for: 🔹 3–5 years of relevant legal experience 🔹 Degree in Law 🔹 Experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements 🔹 Hands-on experience with Compliance, KYC/AML and counterparty due diligence 🔹 Good knowledge of GDPR / Data Protection 🔹 Experience with regulatory requirements within fintech, financial services, brokerage or related technology businesses 🔹 Strong written and spoken English 🔹 Practical, independent and business-oriented approach What you’ll work on: • Commercial agreements and contracts • Corporate and regulatory matters • KYC/AML and counterparty due diligence • GDPR and Data Protection • Licensing and regulatory requests • ICT and outsourcing arrangements • Internal policies and compliance documentation • Support for multiple group entities across different jurisdictions ✨ Nice to have: experience with Cyprus/EU investment firm regulation, licensing applications, regulatory submissions, M&A or multi-jurisdictional legal entities.
