Position: Senior C++ developer Work format: remote Organization: "Evapps" Rate: 1500 RUB/hour (including VAT)

📌A candidate who has worked with hardware and was a network device developer will NOT be suitable.

• Experience in projects within corporate security systems is mandatory.
• Experience with user functions in the OS, with corporate user systems

📌Requirements: ✔️System programming in C:

• Deep knowledge of POSIX API and Linux system calls. -Experience working with file systems, file descriptors, mmap, epoll/inotify.
• Working with processes, threads, IPC (Inter-Process Communication). ✔️Driver Development: -Experience creating Linux Kernel Modules for file and process management. -Knowledge of the VFS (Virtual File System) structure in Linux. -Ability to work with system hooks (e.g., ptrace, seccomp). ✔️Optimization and debugging: -Skills in profiling and optimizing code to minimize overhead. -Ability to work with GDB, perf, strace, and system logs. ✔️Development tools: -Experience working with Makefile, CMake. -Knowledge of Git and CI/CD systems. ✔️Security understanding: -Consideration of vulnerabilities and data protection at the driver level.

📌Main tasks: ✔️Development of a file and process management driver: -Writing a Linux kernel module to implement file/process management functionality. -Implementing access control logic for files and processes. ✔️Adaptation to Linux: -Rewriting system calls and APIs for Linux. -Eliminating dependencies on Windows drivers. ✔️Optimization and debugging: -Minimizing driver overhead. -Fixing bugs related to performance and security. -Working with profiling tools (perf, strace). ✔️Integration: -Configuring driver interaction with client modules. -Testing functionality with Java developers and analysts.
