☑️ Responsibilities
- First and foremost, we are looking for a strong individual to strengthen the DE team, so the focus is on developing and optimizing current key operational processes
- 50% of the time - implementing tasks for DWH development (analysis, DWH object development, dbt models, data pipelines)
- 20% of the time - architectural tasks, work planning, and improvement of engineering practices within the team
- 30% of the time - supporting and improving existing DWH operational processes (incident resolution, bottleneck identification and stabilization, working on systemic process improvement)
☑️ Our requirements for candidates
- Extensive experience with MPP DBMS (ideally Greenplum), experience in query optimization, resource group configuration, system performance monitoring
- Experience in designing objects for multi-layered corporate data warehouses
- Experience in developing dbt models
- Experience in designing and developing DAGs in Airflow with clear task decomposition, dependencies, and sensors. Understanding of retry policy configuration principles, SLA timeouts, and alerts
- Experience in setting up CI/CD processes, development quality control processes
- Business analysis skills, ability to communicate with business users in their language
- Experience in the banking sector will be a significant advantage
