Management of network infrastructure based on CISCO/HP/D-Link/Mikrotik/Linux. Configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points);
Configuration and support of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, etc.);
Modernization and optimization of the existing network;
Implementation of measures to ensure network fault tolerance and network optimization;
Monitoring of network equipment, availability control, analysis of load on communication channels and equipment (CPU, RAM, disks, interfaces), anomaly detection, problem forecasting;
Maintenance of documentation on configuration of services and equipment;
Keeping network security policies up-to-date;
Management of enterprise-level Ubiquiti Wi-Fi networks, forecasting and problem detection;
Planning of component and equipment procurement;
Writing scripts for network management automation.
Requirements
Building fault-tolerant L2/L3 networks, using related protocols. Understanding of core, aggregation, distribution, and clustering layers. Key goal: ensure 99.999% network availability even with hardware or logical failures;
Building Enterprise-level wireless networks. Full support of AAA, 802.1X, security, proactive quality monitoring;
Experience with Cisco Systems, Mikrotik, Ubiquity equipment at the level of backbone channels, data centers. Independent installation, updates, maintenance;
Experience with Linux operating systems. Understanding of network stack operation, syslog, iptables;
Ability to configure a software router;
Understanding and experience with dynamic routing protocols;
Use of scripts (Python, Bash) and tools (Ansible) for management automation;
Independent configuration and maintenance of VPN servers based on Linux OS and on physical network equipment. Support for a large number of users;
Knowledge of network security. Methods and tools for protecting external and internal perimeters. Network protection against threats: firewall configuration, IDS/IPS. Implementation of access policies (ACL), authentication (RADIUS);
Prompt troubleshooting and resolution of problems in the network infrastructure.
