🔍 We are looking for a Backend Developer (Python) at AML Academy (Astana)

We are building a platform for analytics — document parsing, full-text and vector search, AI assistant. Tens of terabytes of data, all on a modern stack.

What to do: — Design REST API (FastAPI, Litestar) in clean architecture — Write async data processing services on FastStream + NATS JetStream / RabbitMQ / Kafka — Work with PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy 2.0 (async) + Alembic — Integrate Elasticsearch and Qdrant (vector search) — Caching (Redis), object storage (MinIO/S3) — ETL pipelines: PDF parsing, OCR, import from external APIs — Cover with tests (pytest, ≥90% coverage) — Docker, GitLab CI/CD, monitoring (Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack)

Required: — Python 3.12+, async — FastAPI or Litestar from 1+ year — SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic, PostgreSQL — Understanding of clean architecture and dependency injection — Experience with message brokers (NATS / RabbitMQ / Kafka) — Docker + Docker Compose — Ability to write tests

Plus: — Elasticsearch / vector databases — Redis, MinIO/S3 — FastStream, event-driven architecture — OpenTelemetry, Grafana/Loki/Tempo — uv, Ruff, Dishka — DevOps knowledge: bare metal, VM, Proxmox
