Executive Legal Associate (International Corporate & Licensing Law)

Salary Range: from 2 500 USD (we are ready to offer starting conditions based on your current grade; the final amount is discussed individually based on the results of the technical interview and depends on the depth of your case track)

We are an international consulting company. Since 2013, we have been helping clients worldwide in corporate structuring, licensing, international tax planning, and comprehensive support for FinTech, Crypto, iGaming, and Brokerage projects.
We are looking for an Executive Legal Associate - an autonomous "combat unit" and a strong expert. This role is for a legal consultant who can guide a client from the first meeting to business launch, thinks in P&L terms, knows how to build deep trusting relationships with VIP clients, and take full responsibility for the result.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full project support (from A to Z): managing complex international licensing projects for the FinTech, Crypto, and iGaming industries.
- Architecture and structuring: development and implementation of complex international ownership structures, investment, and tax schemes (multi-jurisdictional setups).
- Development of legal documentation: preparation of in-depth Legal Opinions, memorandums, corporate policies, and agreements.
- Crisis management: independent resolution of conflict and "dead-end" situations with foreign regulators, Tier-1 banks, and agents.
- Consulting and client development: independent conduct of expert consultations without involving senior colleagues; ability to identify business pain points and convert communication into cross-sales and new contracts.
- Mentoring: supervision, task assignment, and quality control of the work of Junior lawyers and paralegals within their projects.
What we expect from the candidate:
- Higher legal education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in international corporate, financial, and commercial law (structuring, M&A, gambling/crypto licenses).
- Experience in consulting (will be a key advantage) or In-house in top IT / FinTech / Crypto / iGaming companies.
- Successful case track: presence in the portfolio of personally implemented complex licensing projects brought to fruition.
- English at B2+/C1 (Advanced) level: ability to conduct personal calls, negotiations with foreign banks, partners, and regulators fluently.
- Absolute autonomy: you make operational and tactical decisions on cases yourself.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with jurisdictions: Curaçao, Anjouan, Malta, Nevis, Liberia, Kahnawake, Isle of Man, Costa Rica, Saint Lucia, Seychelles, Mauritius, Cyprus, etc.
- Direct "warm" contacts with top registrars, Tier-1 banks, and government agents.
