A large e-commerce business is looking for a CTO.
The company is among the major sellers on Wildberries and Ozon, works with its own import from China, and is preparing for international market scaling. The main task is to build a technological platform capable of supporting exponential business growth.
Responsibilities
- Development of technological strategy and platform architecture for international scaling
- Building a system for managing the product matrix, procurement, logistics, and unit economics
- Automation of key operational processes and implementation of AI agents
- Platform development for rapid launch in new countries and markets
- Ensuring fault tolerance and uninterrupted operation of the technological infrastructure
- Formation and development of engineering teams for Russian and international directions
Requirements
- Engineering background and experience in designing complex high-load systems
- Experience in building technological platforms in a growing business
- Ability to link technological solutions with business economics, margins, and profits
- Experience in forming and managing strong engineering teams
- Practical experience in implementing AI, automation, or intelligent agents
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail tech, logistics, data products, or international platforms will be an advantage
