We create projects for Tinkoff, Yandex, CDEK, Samolet, Pari, Litres, Fonbet, VK, Sibermobile, Soyuzmultfilm, and others.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for part-time, project-based, remote work.

Our stack:

The main infrastructure is hosted in Timeweb Cloud. For Infrastructure as Code, we use OpenTofu (Terraform), and for server configuration, we use Ansible.

On servers, we use Ubuntu, Docker, and Docker Compose. As a reverse proxy, we use Angie. CI/CD is built on self-hosted GitLab and GitLab CI; we store images in GitLab Container Registry and proxy external Docker/npm/Composer repositories through Nexus.

For monitoring and logging, we use Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Grafana Alloy, as well as blackbox-exporter and other exporters. Infrastructure configuration, monitoring, and alerting are managed within an IaC approach.

Responsibilities:

• Development and support of project infrastructure in Timeweb Cloud.
• Development of Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu / Terraform.
• Development and support of Ansible roles and playbooks.
• Setup and support of Docker / Docker Compose environments.
• Development and support of GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Network infrastructure setup: VPC, NAT, firewall, reverse proxy, DNS, SSL/TLS.
• Support of stage and production environments.
• Setup and development of monitoring, logging, and alerting based on Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Participation in the investigation of infrastructure problems and incidents.
• Automation of infrastructure and operational tasks.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Experience with Terraform / OpenTofu or other IaC tools.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of networks: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, NAT, firewall.
• Experience with nginx, Angie, Traefik, or other reverse proxies.
• Understanding of the principles of PostgreSQL, Redis, and other typical web application services at the infrastructure level.
• Experience with Git.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Timeweb Cloud or other cloud providers.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and self-hosted GitLab.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Grafana Alloy.
• Experience with Nexus or other registry/repository managers.
• Experience in building infrastructure for PHP, Node.js, or Go applications.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Centrifugo, and other web application infrastructure components.
• Experience in setting up security checks for infrastructure code: Checkov, Gitleaks, Trivy, and similar.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
