NLP Developer for Browser

Our team is focused on integrating and improving Alice in Yandex Browser, as well as developing and enhancing ML features within the browser. This enables our AI assistant to perceive and interact with web pages. We have launched features such as a concise summary of videos and articles, neural editing capabilities for text manipulation powered by YandexGPT, and a question-answering function for web pages. We are looking for strong ML engineers who will develop and create solutions based on modern agent architectures and LLMs, as well as classic machine learning models.

What tasks await you:

• Improving current models and training new ones

  You will train classifiers and standard generative models, as well as work on improving complex scenarios using agents and sophisticated pipelines that combine multiple technologies. Our tasks include data collection and analysis for fine-tuning, as well as the training process itself using SFT and RL approaches.

• Building rapid prototypes for new projects

  To launch new products, it's essential to quickly test hypotheses and build MVPs. The current focus is on scenarios involving agents and the use of RAG for rapid processing of large data contexts. It's important for us to quickly test diverse hypotheses and build prototypes, which helps us define future projects and our capabilities.

• Automating ML model validation

  You will implement systems for automatically assessing the quality of models in production.

We expect you to:

• Have ML experience
• Know Python well
• Be proficient in classic algorithms and models
• Have a good understanding of NLP and LLM

It will be a plus if you:

• Have experience with agents and RAG pipelines
