About the project
A game in the merge genre.
The prototype is already assembled, and the visual style is defined and set — the art lead will need to dive into the existing concept, integrate into the project, and further lead its visual development: maintain style consistency, scale it to new content, and build processes for the growing needs of the project.
Who we are looking for
A 2D Art Lead who will take on the visual direction of the project based on a ready-made AI pipeline, personally refine and finalize AI graphics, and manage a small product team of two generalist artists.
Responsibilities
- Immersion in the existing visual style of the project, studying references and developments
- Adherence to and work within the already prepared AI art production pipeline, maintaining consistency and uniformity of the visual style across all content
- Control of visual compliance of art with the setting, character traits, and narrative tasks
- Assigning tasks to a team of 2 artists, providing feedback, monitoring deadlines, and keeping artists within the AI pipeline
- Checking art logic (readability on a mobile screen, element compatibility, absence of AI artifacts, adherence to the brief)
- Independent refinement and finalization of AI graphics (AI art post-processing, art for dialogues, occasional merge elements)
- Supplementing and updating the AI graphics style guide for the team as the project develops
- Hiring and onboarding new artists as the team grows
- Interaction with game designers, producers, and developers to coordinate visual solutions

- Proficient in relevant software, with experience working with neural networks;
