🎨 Triluna Games is looking for a self-sufficient 3D VFX Artist to work on a first-person roguelike FPS for PC and consoles. The project places a strong emphasis on a spectacular combat system, ability variety, and deep game mechanics.
Responsibilities: • Create and configure stylized VFX for a dynamic first-person combat system on PC and consoles. • Develop visual effects for spells, abilities, perks, hits, impacts, reactions, and interactions of game mechanics. • Work closely with game designers and programmers on the implementation of the roguelike combat system, enemies, and their abilities. • Integrate VFX into the project on Unity in close collaboration with the technical artist and programmers. • Maintain a consistent visual style for the project, creating effects in a stylized fantasy aesthetic. • Participate in shaping the visual language of the combat system: developing effects for buffs, different damage types, statuses, abilities, and other game states.
Our expectations: • Commercial experience as a VFX Artist for at least 3 years. • Proficient experience in creating and integrating VFX in Unity. • Experience in creating stylized visual effects. • Good sense of form, color, rhythm, and effect readability. • Basic understanding of game design and how VFX helps players read game events.
Will be a plus: • Experience developing VFX for first-person games (PC/consoles). • Experience working on action games, shooters, or roguelite projects. • Frame-by-frame animation skills. • Experience creating or configuring effects for characters.
What we offer: • Remote work from anywhere in the world. • An international team of professionals. • Competitive salary. • The opportunity to create a game where every decision you make will be felt by players.
