We are looking for an engineer to join the development and maintenance team of a centralized highload system critical for the bank (Mission Critical). We need a specialist who will help make our services even more reliable and faster.
Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of high-load integration systems (participation in recovery, incident management as a 2nd line expert)
- Implement and develop fault-tolerant solutions and monitoring tools
- Work with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes) for managing microservices
- Design and configure service network interaction (Service Mesh: Istio)
- Participate in CI/CD processes and interact with development, testing, and operations teams
- Conduct incident diagnostics and find root causes of problems (Root Cause Analysis).
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the architecture of high-load distributed systems and the principles of building fault-tolerant solutions
- Production experience with Kubernetes (K8S) (not just "knowledge," but operational experience)
- Practical experience with Service Mesh (Istio) for traffic management
- Confident knowledge of Linux and fundamentals of network interaction (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems (understanding metrics and alerts)
- Skills in application performance diagnostics and working with SQL (at the level of complex queries, understanding how DBMS works)
- English language: confident reading of technical documentation.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in writing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD)
- Configuration and maintenance of PostgreSQL (replication, backups) and Apache Kafka
- Deep understanding of Nginx operation (load balancing, proxying).
