Job Description
GG Orbit is a gaming platform that combines competitive matches, in-game item trading, payment services, and fair play technologies. We are building a product where players can compete, get rewarded for their achievements, and trade in-game assets within a unified ecosystem.
We are looking for a Front-End Lead to take responsibility for the technical development of the front-end and team management. We need a leader who can build architecture, develop engineers, and remain involved in development: write code, tackle complex tasks, and be responsible for the quality of the user experience.
What you will do
- Develop the front-end architecture. Define application structure, approaches to state management, data handling, and component reuse. Make technical decisions considering product goals, code maintainability, and platform evolution.
- Participate in the development of key scenarios. Together with the team, create interfaces for matches, the marketplace, and payment operations. Take on complex tasks, integrations, and real-time data update functionality.
- Lead the development team. Assist with task decomposition and estimation, conduct code reviews, and foster developer autonomy. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and the professional growth of the team.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of interfaces. Develop automated testing, client-side error monitoring, and change delivery processes. Improve loading speed, responsiveness, and interface stability during network and API failures.
- Develop the design system and engineering practices. Collaborate with designers to maintain a component library, consistent interaction rules, and the product's visual integrity. Ensure interface adaptability, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Work at the intersection of product and technology. Collaborate with the product team, back-end developers, designers, and QA to refine requirements, agree on API contracts, and plan releases. Balance the launch of new features, implementation quality, and technical debt reduction.
What we expect
- At least 5 years of commercial front-end development experience, including experience in technical leadership or team management. It's important that you are responsible not only for your own tasks but also for the team's results.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, with experience in Next.js. Understanding of component architecture, state management, asynchronous operations, and rendering approaches.
- Experience developing complex product interfaces: integrations with REST APIs, working with WebSockets or similar mechanisms, error handling, uploads, and connection interruptions. Ability to maintain consistent interface state with frequent data updates.
- Strong engineering skills. Experience in front-end architecture design, performance optimization, build configuration, and automated testing. Understanding of client-side security and authorization principles.
Technology Stack
TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML/CSS, REST API, WebSocket, Git, component-based design system, and monorepo experience.
Will be a plus
- Experience in gaming products, esports, marketplaces, or payment services.
- Practical experience developing interfaces with intensive real-time data exchange, working with product metrics, and evolving design systems.
- An interest in games and an understanding of player expectations will also help you immerse yourself in the product faster.
We offer:
- Competitive salary in USDT.
- Flexible schedule (core hours 12:00–16:00 GMT+3), Moscow (hybrid / office optional).
- Opportunity to build a large-scale gaming platform from scratch.
- Potential for technical growth and career development.
- A friendly team, transparent processes, and an environment that values initiative.
