Responsibilities

● Technical team leadership: defining architectural solutions, development standards, and technical approaches

● Setting technical tasks for developers (Embedded, Robotics SW, Fullstack, ML engineers), monitoring execution, and accepting results

● Conducting systematic code reviews, ensuring a high level of code quality and technical documentation

● Development and support of high-level software architecture: onboard systems, navigation, motion control, backend interaction

● Decomposition of product requirements into technical tasks, effort estimation, and sprint planning with PM/PO

● Participation in hiring and onboarding new engineers, conducting technical interviews

● Mentoring and professional development of team members, identifying and addressing growth areas

● Interaction with hardware, design, and ML teams for end-to-end system integration

● Technical debt management: identification, prioritization, and systematic elimination

● Ensuring the operability of CI/CD pipelines, testing processes (unit, integration, regression), and automated deployment

● Development of technical specifications (TS) for system components, participation in technology and vendor selection

● Coordination with the Product Owner on technical risks, deadlines, and priorities

● Organizing testing processes for prototypes and pilot samples, participation in field trials

Requirements

● Level: Senior+, confirmed experience as Tech Lead or lead engineer for 5+ years

● Specialist, Bachelor's, Master's degree, or academic degree in a technical specialty: robotics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or related fields

● Deep knowledge of C++ and Python, experience in developing high-load and embedded systems

● Solid knowledge of software architecture and the ability to make balanced technical decisions at the system level

● Experience with ROS2 (DDS, QoS, lifecycle nodes, composable nodes)

● Experience leading a team of developers: task assignment, code reviews, mentoring, engineer development

● Experience in designing and implementing complex real-time distributed systems

● Knowledge of CI/CD principles, DevOps practices, experience with Docker, GitLab CI, k8s

● Experience with hardware interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet

● Solid knowledge of Linux family OS, including configuration and optimization for real-time tasks

● Experience interacting with cross-functional teams: embedded, hardware, ML, designers

● Technical planning skills: effort estimation, technical debt management, task decomposition

● English language proficiency B2+ (reading technical documentation, participating in technical discussions)
