DL Developer for the Generative Response Quality Team in Search

Search with Alice is one of the major updates to Yandex Search. The new service combines search technologies and generative neural networks to provide a single, comprehensive answer to a user's question. We aim to use Alice to create the generative search of the future and are looking for people to help us achieve this.

What tasks await you

Experiments with the latest LLMs (SFT, RL) You will be involved in all stages of LLM alignment, from SFT to RL, to improve the final product quality.

Development of complex technological pipelines at the intersection of state-of-the-art NLP and classical ML You will work on a wide range of complex and interesting tasks: from classical ML/IR (selecting and ranking documents for generation) to NLP and LLM training.

Participation in brainstorming sessions and discussions of new product solutions You will participate in discussions of product decisions that affect millions of Search users.

We expect you to

• Be passionate about large language models and have experience in training them
• Be proficient in modern NLP and have used it to solve product tasks
• Know how and want to solve full-cycle product ML tasks: from collecting annotation to deployment in production

It will be a plus if you

• Have a deep understanding of LLM alignment
• Know how to build RAG pipelines
• Can write code for distributed training of large models
