Online foreign language school. Proprietary platform, not a website on a ready-made theme: 162 thousand lines of code, 15 custom plugins on top of WordPress, AI integrations, custom REST routes, and database tables.

About the Role. The platform was developed by another developer and is close to launch. A fresh perspective is needed: to review the code, identify weaknesses, and help bring it to a production-ready state.

Tasks — Review of the current fifteen plugins and future enhancements: discrepancies between them, security, bottlenecks under load — Infrastructure: git, deployment, rollback, backups, monitoring — Bring to launch, periodic monitoring, and support

What's Important — Code review experience: having reviewed others' code and found issues, not just written your own — Experience with a large existing codebase, not just projects from scratch

Experience specifically with LearnDash and BuddyBoss may not be required. Strong backend developer with Laravel or Symfony — apply.

Compensation: $400–900 per month for a workload of 20–30 hours. Project-based: scope and cost of tasks will be agreed upon before starting. Payment based on acts. Direct work with the client, long-term.
