We are a team of Sber's Global Markets Department, where trading systems are created. Currently, we are developing two high-load areas: collecting and distributing streaming market data, as well as calculating positions and risks in real-time.
Now the team is creating an AIOps system. We are not just implementing monitoring, we are building an AI agent that can autonomously observe services, find root causes of incidents, and resolve them. We are fans of automation and are looking for someone who shares this approach.
We are looking for an SRE engineer who is ready to tackle tasks at the intersection of R&D and real-world operations.
What you will do:
- Develop and support an AI agent for automatic detection, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents in critical systems
- Design the observability layer (metrics, logs, tracing) as a foundation for the AI agent's operation. Set up smart alerting, correlation, and event grouping
- Develop and debug tools and playbooks that the agent uses for diagnosing and resolving problems
- Analyze incidents (postmortem) and agent errors (false positives), and based on the analysis, improve the accuracy and completeness of automated responses
- Populate and structure the agent's knowledge base (incident history, documentation), implement RAG to improve the quality of automated solutions
- Work with the company's infrastructure stack: k8s, Istio, Nginx, haproxy, Kafka, Ignite, PostgreSQL, Hashicorp Vault, Nexus, ELK
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams
- Work on R&D tasks of varying complexity.
We expect you to have:
- Higher education in IT
- Experience building monitoring systems: logging (ELK), metrics (Prometheus/Grafana), tracing
- Readiness for active communication with other teams in the department
- Experience with Ansible, Istio, Hashicorp Vault
- Experience building CI/CD: Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
- Experience with Git
- Linux administration experience: Debian/Ubuntu
- Understanding of load balancing principles and Nginx configuration experience.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in configuring and administering Apache Ignite and Apache Kafka
- Application build skills: Maven, npm
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience deploying Kubernetes from scratch, writing Helm charts
- Experience using AI agents for infrastructure tasks and automation.
Working at Sber means:
- A modern office at Vavilova, 19 with its own parking, cafeteria, cafes, relaxation areas, and gym
- Annual salary review and annual bonus
- Over 400 educational programs from SberUniversity for professional and career development
- Adaptation program and mentor support at the start
- Extended VMI (Voluntary Medical Insurance), preferential insurance for family, and a corporate pension program
- Preferential mortgage and loans from Sber
