Account Director — Performance Marketing
About Plurio
Plurio (ex-Elly Analytics) is an AI agent for performance marketing teams. We're not another dashboard or analytics tool — we're building AI that actually does the work: analyzes campaigns, spots problems, reallocates budgets, and explains what's happening in plain language.
We've raised $4.5M total, with the most recent $3.5M announced in March 2026. We work with marketing teams spending $100K–$5M/month on paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) — companies with complex funnels, long conversion chains, subscription and repeat-purchase models, and LTV-driven optimization (think EdTech, FinTech, Consumer Apps, Healthcare, Home Services).
The team is 30+ people, fully remote, and radically AI-first — everyone works in Cursor with a shared workspace. We don't just sell AI; we run on it.
Why This Role Exists
Plurio has completed the pilot stage and is ready to scale into enterprise accounts. We need an Account Director who can build relationships with marketing teams spending $500K–$5M/month on paid ads — someone who speaks the language of CMOs, understands how enterprise marketing organizations really work, and knows what matters to these leaders both professionally and personally.
You know what it takes to manage clients with multi-million monthly budgets. You understand the corporate kitchen — how decisions get made, who the stakeholders are, what keeps a VP of Marketing up at night. You've been in those rooms, at those dinners, at those off-sites. You don't just know the business — you know the people.
This is a relationship-first role with real commercial impact. You help clients onboard onto the product, extract genuine value from the AI agent, and build strategy alongside their teams. You close deals, grow accounts, and bring in new ones — because that's what great account directors do. You develop existing relationships and open new doors, using both the product and your own network.
- Location: Remote (Global)
- Type: Full-time
- Reports to: CEO (Seva Ustinov) / CEO & CBDO (Kirill Kasimskiy)
What You’ll Own
Client Relationships & Value Extraction
- Managing a client portfolio with a combined budget of $5M–20M/month
- Strategic conversations with CMO/VP Marketing-level stakeholders — understanding their KPIs, challenges, internal politics
- Onboarding clients onto the product: helping the client's team integrate Plurio as an indispensable part of their marketing stack
- Helping clients extract maximum value from the AI agent — so Plurio actually changes their daily operations
- Quarterly Business Reviews: demonstrate ROI, propose expansion, collect feedback
Sales
- Closing enterprise deals ($50K–200K ARR)
- Discovery calls: understand the client's workflow, show how Plurio solves their specific pain
- Demo: not "here are features" but "here's how this changes your work" — using the client's real data
- Pipeline management: from first touchpoint to closed-won
Product Feedback Loop
- Passing client insights to the product team
- Prioritizing feature requests: what the market needs, not what one client asks for
- Participating in roadmap discussions
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 10+ years in performance marketing — you were "that person" on the team who managed the budget, made decisions, and was accountable for results
- Managing budgets of $500K+/month — you know what a million-dollar-a-month campaign looks like and what problems arise at that scale
- Deep expertise in at least one platform (Meta, Google, TikTok) — not "I set up ads" but "I know how the auction works, where the money hides, and why CPA spikes on Thursdays"
- Enterprise client experience — you can talk to a CMO as an equal, you understand how enterprise marketing teams operate from the inside, you know what matters to these leaders — their KPIs, their politics, their priorities. You've been on joint calls, QBRs, off-sites. This world is not new to you.
- You've built systems, not just optimized by hand — automated rules, reporting pipelines, team processes. You scale through systems.
- Professional-level English — our clients are in the US market
Huge Bonus
- Existing network and contacts in the enterprise segment — you already know CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Heads of Acquisition at companies spending $500K+/month. This isn't a new world you'd be building from scratch — you're already in it, and people take your calls.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/automation for marketing — you already use AI tools in your work
- Public speaking experience — the role includes representing Plurio at client events, closed-door dinners, and conferences (US/EU).
- Telegram channel, LinkedIn presence, blog — you already share your expertise
Red Flags
- Agency-only background with no client-side experience (or the reverse — client-side only with no ability to sell)
- "I set up ads" without systems thinking
- No experience with budgets above $100K/month
- No US market or enterprise client experience
- Sales-driven without product understanding
What You Can Expect
- Competitive compensation, up to $15K/month — base + performance bonuses tied to portfolio growth and new revenue
- Direct access to the founders — Seva Ustinov and Kirill Kasimskiy.
- A product that sells itself — clients who try Plurio recommend it (90% recommendation rate from pilots).
- AI-first team — the entire company works in Cursor with a shared workspace.
- Remote-first — work from anywhere.
- Product influence — your client insights directly shape the roadmap.
- Early stage = maximum impact — $4.5M raised, first enterprise clients, rapid growth.
Hiring Process
- Intro — short message + LinkedIn/CV.
- Discovery call (Kirill, CEO & CBDO, or Evelina, CMO — 30 min)
- Deep dive (Seva, CEO — 60 min)
- Client simulation (60 min) — roleplay: you run a QBR with a "client"
- Offer
