We are currently looking for a Java Developer for the MRO team.
The "Maintenance and Repair" product is an ERP platform for aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), which is used to manage critical business processes such as:
- Aircraft maintenance
- Supply chain and logistics management
- Production capacity planning
- Financial accounting and management
- Tracking history and compliance with strict aviation security standards
Stack: Java 8, Swing, PostgreSQL, custom libraries
Responsibilities
- Refactoring the service for engineering personnel;
- Initiating and conducting architectural and process changes;
- Generating technical documentation;
- Controlling code quality and service performance in production;
- Incident management;
- Teamwork (mentoring, participation in development plan creation, conducting retrospectives and one-to-ones);
- Interaction with adjacent teams (including engineering teams).
Candidate Profile
- Excellent Java knowledge;
- Understanding of system design principles and experience;
- Experience with legacy products (refactoring, re-engineering, support);
- Understanding of CI/CD mechanisms, working with k8s;
- Ability to decompose complex tasks and work with tasks of high uncertainty.
