Java\Kotlin Developer for Yandex.Travels Financial Core

Yandex.Travels is a service that helps plan a trip in minutes: find tickets, hotels, or apartments, read reviews, and pay for everything with a card. We are developing the new financial core for Yandex.Travels — the Gringotts system, which records user monetary inflows and partner payouts, taking into account various financial and legal specifics. Our goal is to make the reflection of all monetary flows passing through the service as accurate and transparent as possible. Thanks to this:

• financial analysts will have convenient tools for forecasting the company's revenue and expenses;
• hoteliers will receive detailed reports on accommodation payouts;
• accountants will have accurate data in accounting systems.

Gringotts is a new system that we are developing from scratch. This gives developers the opportunity to influence architectural decisions and shape technical approaches. The scale of tasks is significant: immediate plans include expansion to railway and air bookings, as well as support for international partners with more complex financial and legal specifics. Each such expansion requires the design of new calculation schemes, integrations, and architectural solutions.

Our Stack We primarily use Kotlin and love writing DSLs in it, but some services are written in Java. Core technologies include Spring, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, gRPC, as well as YT, YDB, Logbroker.
