Description
Our Sales Network Department team is seeking a Data Engineer.
We develop and implement end-to-end big data-based solutions into the bank's business processes related to client servicing.
Responsibilities
- Analysis, loading, cleaning, and transformation of large volumes of data from various bank automated systems (analysis of structure, quality, completeness, and applicability of data) into a working area on the MPP DBMS platform Greenplum/Hadoop
- Designing and developing analytical data marts
- Quality control of loaded data (implementation of complex quality checks, performing adjustments for large-volume data)
- Implementation of ETL processes, participation in preparing releases for deployment into the production environment
- Development and support of ETL processes for loading data to/from the data warehouse using Python
- Searching for and providing data upon request from internal and external customers
- Calculation of complex analytical metrics in data marts.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of SQL (analytical functions, subqueries, stored procedures/functions, performance optimization)
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience using the Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, Spark, Hive
- Ability to optimize program code according to the specifics of data storage architectures
- Advanced analytical skills and a versatile approach to problem-solving
- Result-oriented, attention to detail, strong communication skills.
