RELOCATION TO CYPRUS | TRAFFICSTARS

City: Limassol, Cyprus. Work format: office, full-time. Salary: from 5000 to 7000 euros net + bonuses

Product: high-load advertising network, 10+ years on the international market TrafficStars is an advertising network that registers over 7 billion events per day in a ClickHouse cluster of 3.6 petabytes, with +500 servers located in data centers in Europe and the USA. Our network receives and processes over 1 million requests per second during peak hours. This is a great opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge in a unique highload project, with a team of excellent specialists. Due to the growth of the IT department, we are opening a vacancy for the position of Senior DevOps Engineer. The vacancy involves relocation with the entire family to Cyprus, to Limassol, and full official employment.

About the role: You will work within a single product development team and be responsible for its delivery: from commit to production and service observability of the team. Database and storage clusters remain with the infrastructure team, with whom you will work in tandem.

Your responsibilities will include: • Close interaction and support of the product development team: participation in planning, direct work with developers; • Creation and support of helm-charts, kustomize, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines; • Creation and operation of various environments from testing to production; • Configuration of monitoring, alerting, and logging for the team's services; • Ensuring stable service operation in close cooperation with the infrastructure team; • Identifying potential problems and participating in the creation of solutions to eliminate them; • Searching, testing, and implementing new solutions to optimize current processes and improve the quality of services provided.

Our expectations from you: • Solid understanding of k8s operating principles; • Proficient Linux skills; • Git, GitLab, GitLab CI; • Prometheus stack; • ELK/EFK; • Experience working with message brokers (Kafka); • Knowledge of any scripting programming language; • Experience working side-by-side with developers, not through a ticket queue; • Willingness to quickly dive into unfamiliar services and technologies.

Will be a plus: • Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Aerospike — at a confident user level, not a cluster operator; • Experience working in a product or platform team on a highload project.
