Responsibilities
Development and delivery:
- Independent implementation of complex backend tasks from requirements analysis to production release
- Task decomposition and estimation, identification of technical risks and dependencies
- Participation in backend work planning
- Interaction with product managers, analysts, frontend developers, and QA engineers
- Participation in release preparation and rollout
- Identification of technical debt and participation in its prioritization and elimination
Architecture and design:
- Designing new backend features, services, and APIs
- Participation in the development of backend service architecture
- Selection and justification of technical solutions considering requirements and constraints
- Designing data models and integrations with internal and external systems
- Consideration of performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Documentation of key technical solutions
Development quality:
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Development and adherence to development standards
- Covering critical logic with automated tests
- Participation in CI/CD process development
- Identifying and resolving performance issues
- Adherence to security requirements during development
Operation and reliability:
- Development of observability: metrics, logs, tracing, and dashboards
- Participation in service support in production
- Diagnosis and resolution of production incidents
- Participation in post-mortems and technical post-analysis
- Implementation of measures to prevent recurring incidents
- Improving service reliability and stability
Knowledge sharing and team development:
- Mentoring and knowledge transfer within the team

Requirements
- Five years of experience in backend development with Python
- Experience developing services with FastAPI
- Solid knowledge of Python, including asynchronous programming
- Strong general engineering foundation: networking, HTTP, Linux, databases, and information security basics
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes, transactions, and query optimization
- Experience in designing backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka, understanding of redelivery, idempotency, and error handling
- Experience writing automated tests and conducting code reviews
- Experience with observability stack: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience diagnosing production issues and resolving causes of failures with the operations team
- Experience with Docker and understanding of service operation principles in Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with pipelines
- Ability to independently manage complex technical tasks from requirements analysis to production release
