Travelpayouts is a partnership platform from the creators of Aviasales, specializing in monetizing travel traffic. We help travel bloggers, webmasters, and major media outlets worldwide earn money on their platforms using affiliate tools from brands like Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Viator, and others.
In this model, advertisers — travel brands — pay the money. Currently, we have about 85 of them, and we are looking for someone who will onboard new ones: the largest OTAs, metasearches, and local market leaders worldwide.
This is not a story about a large funnel and hundreds of leads. It's about 10–20 enterprise accounts that need to be worked on thoroughly and qualitatively over a long period: understanding how the company is structured internally, finding the right people, crafting a proposal for them, and bringing the matter to a live integration. Priorities are dictated by our go-to-market strategy: if we enter a new market, we need a brand for it now, not in six months.
The role is standalone and with high autonomy: there are no subordinates, reporting directly to the commercial director, and a project team is assembled around each onboarding.
What needs to be done
- Access large accounts and open doors: build a stakeholder map, find a champion within the company, pursue multiple lines in parallel;
- Assemble an ABM strategy for each priority account: understand what the company is currently focused on and make an offer that intersects their priorities and our capabilities;
- Manage a long cycle — from six months — without losing momentum or the account;
- Drive onboarding to revenue: assemble a project team around it, which you do not directly manage, and lead it to results;
- Evaluate whether an account is worth the effort and stop pursuing those that are not profitable in a timely manner;
- Set ambitious quarterly goals — and achieve them.
What we expect from you
- English at a fluent negotiation level;
- 3+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably 5+: large business, collegial decisions, many stakeholders, deal cycle in months, not weeks;
- Ability to work with ABM: not one pitch for everyone, but a separate approach for each account;
- Experience with international deals — with companies outside of a single market;
- Ability to close a sale through implementation, not just signing: experience working with product and integration teams;
- Independence in uncertainty: willingness to take the lead where there is no established process and scripts, and create clarity around yourself;
- Readiness for business trips — 10–30% of the time: meetings, conferences, industry events worldwide;
- Experience in travel, affiliate marketing, adtech, or SaaS B2B will be a plus; technical expertise is not required;
