Location and format

• Any country (remote)
• Work timezone: availability from 13:00–18:00 Dubai time
• Relocation to Dubai is possible (flight costs covered, apartment rent for the first 1-2 months, medical insurance)
• Employment terms: negotiable (Labor Code of the Russian Federation — not an option)

About the vacancy

We are looking for a Quant Trader with practical experience in developing and deploying crypto strategies to production. It is important to be able to manage the full cycle: from idea to production support. Key task: independently develop strategies, conduct research, assign tasks to developers, and implement solutions. Grade: not important (competencies and results are important).

Key Requirements

• Practical experience in developing and deploying crypto strategies to production
• Ability to manage the cycle «idea → research → implementation → deployment → support»
• Autonomy: independently develops strategies, conducts research, creates technical specifications for developers
• C++ as the primary tool (not just keyword knowledge, but a real ability to deliver results)
• Willingness to work in a high commitment mode, without emphasis on work-life balance

Previous experience that is suitable: Eqvilent, Hudson River, Alber Blanc, Wintermute, BHFT, Jump Trading, Cumberland, GSR, Keyrock, Fast Forward, and similar.

• Candidates from funds/teams that have developed crypto strategies are suitable (even if the fund is simultaneously involved in traditional assets, but the candidate worked specifically within the crypto domain).

Red flags - who is not suitable:

• Profile from traditional investments/funds without real crypto experience (options/futures/VIX as the primary mindset)
• Candidate constantly hides behind NDAs and cannot answer basic questions about strategies and results
• Strong emphasis on "maximum fixed salary" without focus on results and profit share, low engagement
