Team Lead of DL Development for the International Direction Neuro (LLM)

Neuro is the largest update to Search. The service combines search and generative neural network technologies, allowing it to provide one comprehensive answer to a user's question. Yandex has already launched the text-based Neuro in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. Now we face a big and bold task — to create the generative search of the future worldwide!

What tasks await you

Team Management You will lead a team of 5+ people: set large-scale goals, decompose them, organize work with interfacing teams, and control the entire process — from task definition to production deployment.

Model Training You will be training large language models (LLM/VLM) to generate answers to queries from millions of users and to maintain a dialogue. To improve answer quality, it will be necessary to experiment with reinforcement learning (RL) methods.

Working with Data and Quality Assessment You will collect training data and evaluate model quality, trying different approaches.

We expect you to

• Have worked on projects related to LLMs and follow trends in this field
• Have been a team lead or mentor
• Have trained and implemented transformer models
• Have excellent knowledge of mathematics, Python, ML, and NLP

Will be a plus

• Have an understanding of RL/CV, have worked in this area
• Have scientific publications
• Have spoken at conferences
