Head of Frontend Development / Head of Frontend

☑️ Responsibilities
- Manage the UI direction — Frontend Development and Design team of 80+ people
- Manage team leads and develop the management layer within the team
- Develop developers and leads: conduct assessments, provide feedback, build individual development plans, and mentor
- Build and improve development processes
- Enhance development quality and engineering practices
- Monitor timelines and quality of task implementation
- Decompose and estimate tasks coming from the business
- Participate in the product architecture design of the company
- Work with technical debt and technical documentation
- Participate in Code Review and the formation of engineering standards
- Build interaction with related teams and business
- Develop hiring processes and participate in recruiting strong specialists for the team
☑️ Candidate Requirements
- Experience managing a large development team — from 40 people, including team leads
- Experience managing not only individual developers but also team leaders
- Strong technical background in Frontend Development
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and a good understanding of browser specifics
- Understanding of microfrontend architecture
- Experience in designing complex, high-load web applications
- Experience in building hiring, onboarding, technical interview, and employee development processes
- Experience growing developers to Senior / Team Lead level
- Ability to systematically build development processes in a large team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Ability to make decisions and maintain effectiveness under high load conditions
