About the company:
Arteus creates AI products for business. The founders' previous project was Segmento.
We are currently developing ARES, a product for analyzing advertising creatives and producing video using AI. It helps marketing teams analyze their own advertising and competitors' creatives, identify working mechanics, prepare hypotheses, and create new videos for testing.
ARES combines analytics, generative models, and the work of a creative team. We automate the process from data collection and script preparation to the review of finished materials. The team retains control over quality and results.
We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to help develop ARES and coordinate work with clients: collect feedback, prepare tasks, check improvements, and monitor the fulfillment of agreements.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a quick, empathetic, and systematic all-around manager who can manage client projects, handle multiple contexts, resolve communication between the client and development, and turn chaos into a clear process.
We need someone who takes responsibility for the entire client interaction loop with us: records agreements, monitors deadlines, moves tasks forward, manages expectations, and doesn't look for someone to blame if something goes wrong. We don't need a message forwarder.
This role is for someone who is ready to dive into operational tasks: review client chats, tasks, statuses, pending issues, and internal blockers. Basic product knowledge and some practical experience are important to us. Perhaps you have already worked or interned in a product team, engaged in analytics, IT project coordination, or client implementations. Relevant courses are also suitable if they involved practical work and you can explain your decisions.
We are a startup, so in this role, you need to quickly engage in discussions, ask precise questions, and support the progress of multiple tasks simultaneously. It's important to notice where information is missing, who is waiting for a response, and what is hindering the next step.
Your key tasks:
— Client Project Management: manage projects after launch — from documenting requirements and agreements to implementation, support, and development. Monitor deadlines, statuses, risks, client expectations, and project progress according to the contract: what was promised, what we are doing, what has been done, and where there are delays.
— Client Communication: be the primary point of contact between the client and Arteus: answer questions, organize getting answers from within the team, manage expectations, and prevent situations where the client waits in silence for a long time without understanding what's happening.
— Process Order: document agreements, decisions, open issues, and next steps in task managers, chats, and documents. Offload unnecessary client communication from the development team so they can focus more on implementation and less on chats.
— Delivery Process Development: help build a clear and stable process for client-developer interaction: task assignment rules, statuses, escalations, deadline control, transparency, and the use of AI tools for structuring information, preparing responses, and maintaining context.
— Assist with Product Decisions. Formulate hypotheses, compare solution options, and determine how to test results. Collect examples and data for priority discussions. Test improvements on user scenarios, reproduce bugs, record feedback, and check fixes.
Candidate Requirements:
• Product Foundation. Understand what a user problem, hypothesis, metric, and prioritization are. You can explain who a task is for, why it's needed, and how to evaluate the result.
• Practical Experience. Have some experience in product or a related field: analytics, IT projects, implementations, testing, or digital product support. We consider internships, personal projects, and coursework with substantial practical work.
— Client Interaction: strong communication skills, experience interacting with B2B clients, ability to gather requirements, manage expectations, explain statuses, and translate business tasks into clear tasks for the team.
— Process Management: ability to assign tasks, control deadlines, document agreements, highlight blockers, escalate pending issues, and maintain project transparency.
— Personal Responsibility: ability to take responsibility for the overall outcome of client-team interaction. Don't look for blame, but understand the situation, control it, and drive towards a solution.
— AI-Native Approach: willingness to use neural networks and AI tools in daily work: for structuring information, preparing responses, maintaining context, documentation, and accelerating routine tasks.
— Autonomy and Antifragility: ability to work in conditions of uncertainty, a large volume of tasks, and tight deadlines; to formulate tasks independently, identify problems, and bring them to completion.
