Yandex Delivery is a young and fast-growing service. We built one of the largest logistics companies in the country from scratch and have become one of the leaders in the last-mile delivery market in 500 cities in Russia and 13 other countries.

Our team solves logistics problems, develops the user application, and automates work with Delivery partners. The system we are creating processes hundreds of thousands of orders per day. Many tasks are cross-team – we often work with colleagues from Go, Market, Food, and Lavka.

Our team is very young and actively expanding: in the last year alone, we have more than doubled in size. We still have a lot to figure out and do.

Examples of products and projects we are implementing: * Finding the optimal delivery option between two points, in a city and beyond, among many options, taking into account constraints and choosing from tens of thousands of couriers from Delivery, Food, and Lavka. * New delivery methods, such as on-demand or within a narrow time slot, rather than abstractly "within the day". * A platform that allows thousands of performers (from couriers to line-haul carriers and sorting centers) to receive and fulfill orders – including those with complex scenarios. * Tools for partners: personal account, order and logistics management, integration modules with CRM/ERP/POS systems and other products used by partners.

We expect you

• have developed in C++ or any other language and are ready to switch to C++;
• know algorithms and data structures.

Will be a plus

• have designed and developed distributed systems operating under high load;
• know how to work with databases, for example PostgreSQL;
• are familiar with Linux.
