📎 We are looking for a Python Developer
Format: remote Location: Russian Federation / Republic of Belarus / Kazakhstan Project: development of a high-load backend platform Project duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension) Salary: up to 250,000 (Labor Code or Sole Proprietor)
Tasks: • Development and evolution of backend services in Python • Design and implementation of microservices in an Event-Driven architecture • Development of high-load asynchronous services using AsyncIO • Integration of services via Kafka and Redis Pub/Sub • Work with PostgreSQL and optimization of database interaction via SQLAlchemy • Design of REST API and internal service interfaces • Writing unit and integration tests, ensuring the quality of own code • Configuration and support of logging, metrics, and tracing for service monitoring • Participation in architectural solution design and code review • Interaction with analysts, DevOps, and other developers during functionality implementation • Optimization of service performance, fault tolerance, and scalability
Requirements: ✔️ Commercial experience in Python development from 4 years ✔️ Experience in backend service development with FastAPI or Litestar (Starlite) ✔️ Confident command of AsyncIO/concurrency/multiprocessing ✔️ Experience with Kafka ✔️ Experience using Redis (preferably Redis Pub/Sub) ✔️ Confident experience with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy ✔️ Understanding of service observability principles and experience with logging, metrics, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, etc.) ✔️ Practical experience in microservices development ✔️ Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD ✔️ Experience with Event-Driven systems; experience in designing and developing them from scratch will be an advantage ✔️ Experience in self-testing own code (pytest or similar tools)
Will be an advantage: ✔️ Understanding of various architectural approaches beyond Event-Driven ✔️ Experience in designing service architecture from scratch ✔️ Experience in high-load distributed systems ✔️ Experience using AI Coding Agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc.)
