What you will be doing:
- Designing and developing highload microservice systems from scratch (architecture, stack selection, decomposition)
- Evolutionary development of existing functionality: refactoring, optimization of bottlenecks, data migration
- Integration and contract interaction: development and documentation of APIs (REST/AsyncAPI/gRPC), ensuring seamless interaction between dozens of services
- Code Review and mentoring: helping to improve code quality in the team, implementing best practices
- Working with infrastructure: participation in CI/CD setup, optimization of Docker images, and interaction with orchestration (Kubernetes/Swarm)
Our stack:
Python 3.x, FastAPI, Asyncio, SQLAlchemy (async), Pydantic, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux.
What we value (Our expectations):
- Experience in commercial Python development from 4+ years (ideally from 5 years), participation in the full lifecycle of large projects
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming: not just using async/await, but understanding the event loop, concurrency, parallelism, and fighting GIL
- Proficiency in modern frameworks: confident knowledge of FastAPI, asynchronous SQLAlchemy, Pydantic
- Expert level work with DBMS: ability to write complex queries and optimize them (EXPLAIN, indexes, partitioning), design data schemas considering loads
- Message brokers like native tools: experience in building Event-Driven Architecture on top of RabbitMQ or Kafka, understanding delivery guarantees (at-least-once, exactly-once), working with DLQ
- Infrastructure outlook: confident work with Linux (bash, network, processes), containerization experience (Docker)
- Architectural thinking: understanding SOLID, microservice architecture patterns (API Gateway, Circuit Breaker, Saga), ability to justify technological choices
Will be a double plus:
- Experience in fintech or other highload areas
- Skills in setting up monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
