Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve is looking for Volunteers to create an audio guide for the arboretum.
Help many people hear the voices of the Ussuri taiga.
On the territory of the central estate of the Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve, there is an arboretum — a miniature copy of the reserve itself. Here, its boundaries and relief are recreated on a reduced scale: visitors will learn about the highest point — Mount Glukhomanka, the water artery — the Silver River, and a section of the Japanese Sea coast. The main wealth of the park is its vegetation: key species of Ussuri taiga flora are represented here.
Currently, the team is preparing an audio guide for self-guided walks through the arboretum. Information about plants and landscapes has already been collected, but to make it truly come alive, your help is needed.
As part of the volunteer program, you will need to:
This program is an opportunity to make nature audible. Your voice will help thousands of visitors understand and love the taiga more deeply. If you want to make a personal contribution to nature conservation, submit your application by filling out the form.
