We are looking for an engineer to develop and support a cross-platform desktop application for Windows and macOS with a complex network stack.
What you will do: — Develop and support the application for Windows and macOS: system layer and network stack; — Diagnose non-obvious issues: network, daemons, differences between platforms; — Profile the application: leaks, races, performance degradations; — Manage tasks end-to-end — from definition to a verified release.
What is important: — Strong commercial experience in Go development: concurrency, process and resource management, error handling, testing; — Experience in system development for Windows and/or macOS: services and daemons, access rights, system APIs, IPC; — Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing; — Ability to diagnose and profile applications; — Experience in developing and supporting cross-platform applications; — Ability to quickly understand existing codebases and take changes from task to verified release; — Minimal knowledge of TypeScript (just a little, so as not to be intimidated by frontend code); — Professional experience with Claude, Codex, Kimi, or other LLMs.
Conditions: — Fully remote, full-time, 5/2; — Competitive salary; — Probationary period — 1 month, fully paid; — Opportunity to influence product architecture; — Small, strong team without bureaucracy and long approval processes.
If you are interested in working with systems, networks, and Go at a deep level — we will be happy to meet you.
