Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose tasks from business analysts, clarify requirements and estimate effort.
• Formulate technical specifications, project and technical documentation for the development team.
• Plan, distribute, and control the execution of tasks for the backend development team.
• Design, develop, and maintain the server-side of the product and key system components.
• Ensure compliance with architectural principles, development standards, and code quality.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in the technical acceptance of implemented functionality.
• Identify and address technical risks, propose solutions for system development, scaling, and optimization.
• Coordinate the work of the backend team and interact with analysts, managers, and related teams.

Requirements

• Experience in Python 3.0+ development for 4+ years;
• Experience with asyncio;
• Experience with caching and queue systems (Redis, RabbitMQ);
• Experience building complex SQL queries and designing database schemas;
• Previous experience as a lead and/or experience with code reviews and developing complex functionality with high performance and reliability requirements.

Will be a plus

• Experience in the iGaming or Fintech domain;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS platforms (or other cloud platforms);
• Experience with OLAP systems (e.g., ClickHouse) or Data Lake;
• Practical experience with other programming languages (Lua, Java, C#, Rust, or Go);
• Having an open GitHub profile;
• Experience developing high-load (>1k rps) fault-tolerant systems.
