DIONYSOS develops its own product in the IT logistics sector. The head office is located in Monaco, and the development team has been working in Tashkent since 2024.

For over a decade, we have been designing, writing, and supporting our own Warehouse Management System (WMS) for e-commerce. We do everything in-house, without outsourcing. Our systems are used daily by European clients to manage real warehouses. This is not a training project or a business card website. This is a system that operates in production, and the cost of error here is measured in money.

Currently, the technical team consists of eight people. We are looking for a backend developer to join the Connector team.

Our Platform

The platform consists of three parts:

• WMS manages inventory and warehouse staff operations. This includes a mobile application on CapacitorJS/Quasar and a desktop application on ElectronJS/Quasar.
• TMS is responsible for generating shipping labels for outgoing orders. It is written in NuxtJS 4 and Symfony 8.
• Connector links e-commerce platforms with the warehouse and is written in Laravel. This is where you will be working.

What You Will Do

• Develop Connector, which synchronizes orders, products, stock levels, and statuses between e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, and others) and our WMS via REST API.
• Design integrations that continue to work correctly during network failures and partial outages. This means idempotency, retries, data integrity checks, logging, and observability.
• Efficiently process large volumes of data. We need stream processing, batch loading, and memory control, not the habit of "loading everything into an array and hoping for the best."
• Write and optimize queries for PostgreSQL: transactions, indexes, batch inserts and updates, without relying on "luck."
• Participate in all stages of work, from design to deployment.

Who We Are Looking For

Read this section carefully. We value an engineer who understands what happens under the framework, not just someone who can call its methods. For us, Laravel is a tool, not a substitute for understanding. If Laravel were removed, you should be able to manually do what it usually does for you.

This position is for you if you can, without prompts:

• Write OOP in pure PHP (classes, interfaces, composition, encapsulation), without framework "magic";
• Connect to PostgreSQL via PDO and execute parameterized queries manually, understanding why prepared statements are necessary;
• Work correctly with dates and time zones in pure PHP (DateTimeImmutable, DateTimeZone, intervals). This is crucial for cross-border logistics;
• Confidently work with arrays at an advanced level: build indexes and dictionaries, group, transform, and understand the impact on memory;
• Process very large files and data streams without exceeding memory limits: generators, stream reading, batch processing, merging data from multiple sources;
• Think about security by default. Always ask yourself who this endpoint is exposed to and how to protect it: input validation, SQL injection prevention, secret storage, principle of least privilege, API authentication.

Technologies you will work with: PHP 7/8+, Laravel, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, Linux, REST API, Composer, PHPUnit. Experience in e-commerce or logistics will be a big plus.

English is needed for working with an international team. If Russian is your native language, English at a B1 level is sufficient.

What We Definitely Won't Consider

• "I know Laravel," but without understanding the PHP beneath it. If you can't connect to a database, parse a date, or process a large file outside the framework, this position is not for you.
• Resumes where everything sounds like "we did it" and almost nothing like "I did it." During the interview, we ask about your personal decisions and request justifications. An honest "I don't know" is more valuable to us than confident bluffing. Bluffing will be revealed during the technical test.

Selection Process

• Short verbal interview, approximately 15 minutes, in English or Russian. You will talk about who you are, what you personally did, and how you make decisions.
• One-hour technical test, pure PHP, at our office in Tashkent, without AI tools (otherwise, it's not interesting). We check the fundamentals: OOP, database interaction, dates, arrays, memory, and security, not framework syntax knowledge. Be prepared to explain your code aloud.

What We Offer

• Working hours from 09:30 to 17:30 Tashkent time, 35 hours per week.
• Vacation of at least 21 calendar days plus all public holidays of Uzbekistan.
• One day of remote work per week after the first or second year, provided conditions are met.
• Trips to Europe after one year of work; for this, English at C1 level will be required.
• Access to Claude Code and other professional tools.
• Premium courses (Udemy, Coursera, Laracasts, and others) and professional certificates.
• A manager with an engineering background who is deeply involved in development themselves.

Conditions

• During the probation period, the salary is 16,000,000 sums net, and then 19,000,000 sums. If you have a typing speed of 80 WPM or more and quickly solve the technical test, we can offer up to 22,000,000 sums.
• Official employment according to the legislation of Uzbekistan.
