A Product Manager «WMS» is required for the perfumery and cosmetics supermarket Zolotoye Yabloko.
You will work in the BDO (Business Development) department: the team is responsible for implementing the company's business strategy through IT project management and product creation for functional areas. It develops and adapts company business processes for entering new markets. Project: implementation and development of its own WMS system, optimization of warehouse operations.
What you will do:
- Participate in the implementation of its own WMS system: from gathering requirements and describing business processes to piloting and system support
- Optimize warehouse processes in own warehouses (receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping, inventory)
- Research current processes, identify bottlenecks and areas of loss: downtime, picking errors, inefficient use of space, low employee productivity
- Design CJM for internal users: warehouse workers, pickers, warehouse managers
- Describe requirements for WMS and related systems (ERP), hand them over to developers, and control the quality of implementation
- Work with data: build dashboards on warehouse KPIs (productivity, accuracy, turnover, utilization), track dynamics and make decisions based on metrics
- Calculate economics: evaluate the impact of warehouse initiatives on storage costs, order processing costs, operating expenses
- Regularly visit warehouses to see real problems through the eyes of users, not just through reports
What we expect from you:
At least 4 years of experience as a Product Manager (in warehouse logistics or related fields)
Product Approach:
- Ability to independently formulate a problem, goal, and hypothesis, not just receive ready-made tasks
- Ability to build a roadmap based on business and user goals, not on a list of upcoming features
- Effective action in uncertainty, making decisions based on data, not subjective opinions
- Ability to evaluate the effect of initiatives not only through "user convenience" but also through money, productivity, and operational metrics
- Experience in launching products "from scratch" or large-scale product transformations: understanding how to build an MVP, test hypotheses in real conditions, manage risks during implementation
- Knowledge of how to organize the migration process from a legacy system to a new one: minimize downtime, maintain data integrity, manage user transitions, ensure backward compatibility during parallel accounting
Logistics:
- Deep understanding of how warehouse business processes work: receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, returns
