We are a small team developing a 2D Midcore Idle RPG for Android and Steam (InApp monetization). We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Unity Developer to help scale the project.
💻 Tasks — Implement game mechanics and systems according to technical specifications: progression, equipment, crafting, etc.; — Develop end-to-end features — from server data schema to an interface button; — Develop the MMO component: player interaction, guilds, group content, etc.; — Write server-side game logic and API: player data processing and validation, save migrations between versions; — Work with Nakama: server functions, cloud saves; — Protect the economy: server-side purchase validation, anti-cheat and anti-exploit measures; — Make architectural decisions, refactor existing systems, estimate timelines, and justify approaches; — Support the project in a weekly-updates model: releases, hotfixes, basic QA of pre-release versions.
🛠 Requirements — 3+ years of commercial game development experience with Unity; — Tech Stack: Unity, C#, UniTask, InputSystem, UIToolkit, Zenject, PlayFab, Nakama, Odin Inspector + Validator, GameAnalytics, Firebase Analytics + Crashlytics, Cinemachine, Unity Localization, Unity In-app Purchasing; — Experience with a live-service project: release cycles, data migrations, hotfixes; — Understanding of one's own responsibility.
➕ Will be a plus — Experience launching MMO or competitive mechanics (leaderboards, PvP, guild events); — Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar code; — Experience with LLMs; — Experience playing Idle games; — Experience working in small cross-functional teams.
