Who we are looking for

In the VPN Socket project, we are looking for an Advanced Software Engineer who will confidently work with the specified tech stack, be capable of independently taking ownership of large blocks of tasks, and be directly accountable for the results to the CTO.

About us

We create white-label VPN services for bloggers, media, and other partners. Their number is growing every month, so we need a person who will help maintain the technical foundation of the product and ensure the stable operation of the services.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the stability and uninterrupted operation of the service: monitoring, log and incident analysis, scheduled updates, and controlled releases.

• Assist in supporting the current infrastructure on the nginx + PHP + MySQL stack.

• Design and execute SQL queries for analysis and operational tasks, ensure data correctness and integrity.

• Maintain and update technical documentation: instructions, runbooks, operational procedures.

• Act as an L2 escalation point: analyze technical requests from partners and the team, diagnose causes, and propose solutions.

• Take over project ownership on Golang: production support, stabilization, development, and technical improvements.

• Act as a technical interface between the product and the business back office.

What is important

• Deep understanding of web server architecture and client-server interaction.

• Confident work with PHP code at the level of support and enhancements.

• Practical experience with SQL, understanding of data structure and lifecycle.

• Automation of internal processes and services.

• Confident command of the Linux console.

• Confident command of Golang.

• Independently make technical decisions and defend them with arguments.

• Not from the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus.

Conditions

• Fully remote format, flexible schedule.

• Preferably living in CET ±3 hours.
