☑️ Responsibilities -Development and support of desktop application modules (WPF) for automating railway processes: forms where the operator can see thousands of wagons without getting lost – filters, groupings, quick search -Business logic and database work – designing structures, queries that need to run fast on real-world data volumes -We tidy up old code as we go: if we dive into a module for a task, we clean it up. No one is asking to rewrite everything from scratch -Communication with the analyst, and if necessary, directly with the client. Tasks come from the analyst, but important details sometimes emerge in conversation rather than in the ticket text -Sometimes tasks go beyond the desktop – integrations, a bit of web development on ASP.NET Core. This happens infrequently, but the team is small, so sometimes it will be "necessary" rather than "optional". The main work, however, is desktop, data, and business logic

☑️ Candidate Requirements -Commercial C# experience of 3+ years -Proficient in SQL (MS SQL or PostgreSQL): ability to write and read complex queries -Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM -Ability to read and maintain existing code, not just write new code -Interest in the subject area: understanding how the process actually works for the client and building from there. This is more important to us than knowing ten frameworks -Will be a plus: -Experience in creating user-friendly WPF interfaces for complex data and processes -Skills in optimizing data operations: heavy queries, indexes, execution plans. We are happy to teach this on the job if you have solid SQL skills
