Teaching at Central University

8 Middle-level and above positions are open! We are considering candidates who can join the teaching team in September 2026.

Help students become the people who will develop industry, science, and entrepreneurship — without taking time off from their main job. The role of a teacher helps to update knowledge, develop soft skills, and look at one's profession from a new angle.

What we expect from candidates

• Confident Python skills (basic constructs, OOP).
• Experience with advanced language features (generators, decorators, *args and **kwargs).
• Dependency management and code organization skills (virtual environments, pip, modules, and packages).
• Practical experience in solving applied problems: working with files (CSV and JSON), making HTTP requests to external APIs.
• Understanding of exception handling, type annotations, PEP 8, and linters.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple language.

Will be a plus:

Experience in live coding, code review, mock interviews, or technical workshops, experience in mentoring, teaching, or coaching.

Hiring Stages

1. Conversation with a recruiter about experience and motivation to teach
2. Technical interview with a teacher
3. Conducting a trial seminar up to 30 minutes

Which team are we hiring for

Academic team of the "Development" track at Central University

We create development courses for undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive seminars, combining theory and practice (live coding).
• Teach students to write readable, structured, and maintainable code.
• Provide consultations upon student requests.
• Participate in assessment activities and provide developmental feedback.
