The Béton visual culture center is looking for a Gallery Curator.
Responsibilities:
- Initial description of exhibits upon receipt;
- Initial photography of items;
- Exhibit attribution;
- Organization of storage conditions in accordance with accepted rules and conditions;
- Development of a restoration plan, with a description of the restoration task;
- Compilation and maintenance of accounting documents (temporary acceptance, issuance, write-off, etc.);
- Maintenance of the KAMIS accounting database;
- Maintenance of the reporting and planning system for the work performed;
- Control of the temperature and humidity regime of storage;
- Preparation of exhibit lists for exhibition activities;
- Control of the logbook for exhibit movement;
- Preparation of author certificates and maintenance of author biographical materials;
- Preparation of exhibits for exhibitions and photography.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in state museums;
- Higher education in humanities (art history, cultural studies);
- Confident PC user, knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with KAMIS software;
- Proficiency in accounting and storage work skills;
- Basic knowledge of photography (techniques, technologies, artists, etc.).
Conditions:
- Salary: 100,000–150,000 rubles based on interview results + bonus part;
- Employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation;
- Full-time employment, 5/2;
- Workspace within walking distance of metro stations Oktyabrskaya, Kropotkinskaya, Polyanka, and Biblioteka im. Lenina;
