Art center Linda de La is looking for a Head of Educational Programs and Events.
Responsibilities:
- Development of the educational direction: forming the strategy of the art center's educational programs, developing a product line (lectures, public talks, workshops, courses, closed clubs, special events);
- Creation of repeatable and scalable event formats;
- Event programming: compiling a calendar of events for 1-3 months in advance (balance between commercial events, image projects, community formats);
- Creation of thematic cycles and special programs;
- Working with speakers and partners, searching and attracting: lecturers, psychologists, artists, practice leaders, curators;
- Conducting negotiations;
- Forming a pool of permanent experts;
- Management of the direction's economy: revenue planning, event economics calculation, profitability control, meeting the direction's income KPIs;
- Management of implementation: setting tasks for coordinators and managers, controlling the preparation and conduct of events, controlling the quality of customer experience;
- Working with the audience and community: developing a permanent community around the center, increasing repeat visits, developing club and closed formats.
Requirements:
- Readiness to build the educational and event direction as a full-fledged system: with strong products, clear economics, a stable calendar, audience retention, and revenue growth;
- Ability to turn ideas into a working product and take responsibility for the result;
- Experience in producing educational or cultural projects, working with events, managing multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to think systemically;
- Interest in contemporary culture and psychology;
- Ability to make quick decisions;
- Ability to take responsibility for financial indicators.
