The All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts is looking for a Head of the Department of Exhibitions and Displays.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the work of the Department of Exhibitions and Displays (8 people) and direct participation in the Department's work;
- Development and implementation of the strategy for the development of the Museum's exhibition activities;
- Development and implementation of current and long-term plans for exhibition work;
- Search and selection of contractors: curators, architects, builders, designers, printing houses, etc. within the framework of preparing exhibitions and displays;
- Organization of preparation and implementation of architectural and artistic solutions for exhibitions and displays;
- Organization of the development of scientific and creative concepts, thematic and exhibition plans for displays and exhibitions in the museum;
- Preparation of a package of documents for approval of the exhibition and display plan at the Museum's Exhibition Council, and at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation;
- Leadership in the development of technical specifications for the execution of design and performance work for the implementation of exhibition projects;
- Control of the preparation of design and accompanying documentation for exhibitions and new displays in the museum;
- Coordination and control of contractor work;
- Ensuring interaction with cultural institutions and Museum departments on issues of organizing and conducting exhibitions;
- Timely preparation of planned and reporting documentation;
- Control of the Department's record keeping and document flow;
- Determination of the need for exhibition equipment and organization of the purchase and manufacture of said equipment;
- Participation in directorates and working meetings.
Requirements:
- Higher specialized humanities education;
- Mandatory experience in the field of exhibition activities in a museum for at least 3 years, preferably in a leadership position;
- Management experience of at least 3 years;
- Knowledge of 44-FZ (preparation of technical specifications for competitive procedures);
- Ability to work with documents and exhibits of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation;
- Skills in preparing exhibition concepts, compiling thematic and exhibition plans, accompanying text information and printing materials;
- Successful experience in implementing architectural and artistic exhibition projects;
- Experience in the installation and dismantling of exhibition projects;
- Knowledge of the Unified rules for organizing the formation, accounting, storage and use of museum items and museum collections;
- Good business communication skills, excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to manage a team; ability to work in a multitasking environment;
- High degree of responsibility;

- Ability to work in a team.
Conditions:
- Full-time employment, work schedule 5/2 from 10:00 to 19:00, Friday from 10:00 to 17:45;
- On-site work at the employer's location (Moscow, Delegatskaya St., Building 3);
- Employment according to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation;
- Decent salary + bonuses, payments twice a month. Salary is determined based on the interview results;
