We are looking for a ClickHouse Engineer (Middle / Senior) to join our team.

Location: Russia Work format: remote Income: approximately from 180,000 ₽ net, the final level is discussed individually based on the interview results. Long-term project

Responsibilities: • Support and development of ClickHouse clusters • ClickHouse performance tuning and optimization • Work with distributed DDL operations • Configuration of Backup & Recovery for distributed DBMS • Performing rolling upgrades of clusters without service interruption • Configuration of TLS and traffic encryption between cluster nodes • Data migration from Kafka and PostgreSQL • Automation of routine operations • Monitoring and ensuring the stability of high-load systems • Participation in daily stand-ups and customer team work

Requirements: • ClickHouse cluster support experience of 2+ years • Excellent knowledge of Linux (administration, kernel and network parameters tuning) • Understanding of distributed systems architecture (sharding, replication, consensus) • Knowledge of MergeTree family engines • ClickHouse performance tuning experience • Experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL • Experience with distributed DDL • Backup & Recovery configuration experience • TLS and inter-node traffic encryption configuration experience • Understanding of firewall principles in distributed systems • Experience with rolling cluster upgrades without downtime • Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix or similar) • Automation skills in Bash, Python, Ansible • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) • Fluent in Russian

Will be a plus: • Experience with high-load Data Platforms and Big Data solutions • Experience in supporting large distributed clusters • Experience in implementing and optimizing monitoring and automation processes
