Cassandra Administrator (Middle/Senior) is required for the team
Work format: remote Income: approximately from 190,000 ₽, the final level is discussed individually based on interview results.
Main tasks: • Support and development of Apache Cassandra clusters • Configuration and maintenance of distributed infrastructure • Performing Backup & Recovery • Performing rolling upgrades without service downtime • Setting up monitoring and alerting • Ensuring fault tolerance and performance of clusters • Automation of routine processes
Requirements: • Cassandra administration experience from 2 years • Cluster support experience from 3 nodes • Confident Linux knowledge • Understanding of distributed system architecture • Knowledge of consistency models (QUORUM, ONE, ALL) • Experience with nodetool • Compaction strategy configuration (STCS, LCS, TWCS) • Garbage Collection configuration experience (G1, CMS) • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix or equivalents • Automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible) • TLS configuration experience and protection of inter-node communication • Understanding of network interaction and firewalls in distributed systems • Knowledge of Incident / Change / Problem Management processes
Will be a plus: • High-load systems operation experience • Experience in large distributed infrastructures
